Life on Earth is releasing too much carbon and spewing it into the atmosphere, where it traps heat and stirs up the global climate.
The changing climate is now impacting food crops and forests and deserts and disease, plus bringing wild ferocious weather such as we’ve never seen before.
The threat is far worse.
Around 2030, there is a small window that begins closing down as we begin to lose any possibility of control.
In that decade humanity will have be on a smart and certain path toward zero emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050.
We will move toward using zero new land for human habitat purposes.
As we educate women, population growth will slow.
Crisis averted.
But discomfort is the new norm, and people with money will move to more comfortable places. All of humanity will move toward them.
Will we face the future together, or build walls?
